| Q: What is your raincheck policy? |
| A: Rain checks are pro rated per hole. If you pay for 18 holes and only get 9 holes in this is how we rate it. Ex. If you pay $26.00 for 18 holes; the first 9 holes is $15.00 and the second 9 holes is $11.00. Therefore your raincheck would be $11.00. |
| Q: What is your tee times policy ? |
| A: Tee times are taken up to one week in advance. Example: Monday June 1; you could call for a tee time up to Monday June 8. |
| Q: What's the dress code? |
| A: No tank tops or cut off shorts allowed. Shirts must be worn at all times. |
| Q: What's the frost delay policy ? |
| A: In the spring and fall we sometimes have frost delays due to cold mornings. In these cases we must wait to let golfers out until the frost clears. Playing with frost on the course can damage the fairways and greens. |
| A: Soft spikes make for better playing conditions on the greens. They also help prevent the spread of disease on the greens. In many cases soft spikes are more comfortable to walk in than metal spikes. |
| Q: What is our chemical application policy? |
| A: In order to prevent severe damage to the course we must use chemicals to fight diseases and fertilizers to promote growth. The application of chemicals is a maintenance activity that we take very seriously and requires maximum caution and monitoring. Our applicators have all received formal training and testing through DEC sponsored programs and are required to attend continuing education classes to earn credits for recertification. When a course is "closed for chemical applications" there are "no exceptions" to the posting. Crossing over onto a closed course from an open course for any reason is a serious error in personal judgement. Please obey all "course closed" postings as they are there for your safety and benefit. |
| Q: When do you open for the season? |
| A: We do not have a formal opening or closing date for the season. These dates are determined by weather conditions and the playing condition of the course. We open when play can begin without damaging the course and close when the opposite occurs at the end of the season. |
| Q: When do you close for the season? |
A: We close the course when playing conditions have deteriorated or potential damage to the course exists. Once the ground is frozen, we close for the season and pull the flags. The course is only open for play when the pro-shop is open and the flags are back in. | Q: What does the East Course have to Offer? |
