The fairway is guarded on the right side by several "wetland areas". These areas are "environmentally sensitive" and should be treated as lateral water hazards. They were designed to provide mitigation for the construction of stream crossings in other areas of the course. The landing areas off the tee and for the second shot are wide and hazard free, if you stay left of the mitigation areas. The green is protected on the right and left by two deep bunkers. The green is about 3,500 square feet and slopes about 3 feet from back to front. Recent plantings of evergreens along the left side of the fairway help to define the dogleg.
